GAMES & SPORTS IN THE VIDYALAYA

All works and no play makes jack a dull boy. Sports and games keep students physically fit and mentally alert. There Is a multipurpose play field in the premises of the Vidyalaya where the sports like Cricket, Basket Ball, Volley Ball, Foot ball, Table Tennis, Badminton etc. are organised.The Vidyalaya sports committee organises various competitions and gives due weightage to the physical education of the students to enrich their vigour & vitality.

The Vidyalaya is providing expert coaching in the fields of Volleyball, Basketball. Cricket, Football, Judo and also has a well-equipped Gym. In the year 2006-07, so students participate in athletic events, Basketball, TableTennis, Chess and Kabaddi. 15 students got selected for participation at National level in athletics/Chess, Cricket.

ACHIEVEMENTS :

The Vidyalaya hosted the regional KVS sports meet (Athletic) Boys. 403 participent 70 escorts took part in this mega event.
Three students participated in national sports meet 2007 at Bhopal .
Ravi Khurana got one Bronze medal in Discuss Throw under 19.
Sachin kumar played SGFI Cricket in 2006-07
